Tasting: August 7, 2015
Beer #: 783
I have had three beers from Trillium over the past week and frankly, I’ve been blown away the experience. Frankly, the three beers (Double Dry-Hopped Fort Point, Fort Point and this Congress Street) have made me doubt every other IPA or pale ale in my collection. They really are a fantastic brewery turning out some incredible beer. If you are traveling to Boston – make sure you stop in and grab a few bottles.
Like the other beers I’ve had from Trillium, Congress Street is unfiltered and a beautiful opaque bright yellow in color. The flavor delivers wonderful citrus, pineapple and mango. I can’t say I’d put Congress Street past Fort Point or Fort Point’s dry-hopped varieties but Congress Street is no slouch and a very solid 95 in my book.
