Double Dry Hopped Fort Point

Hands down, Trillium brewing makes the most beautiful looking beer. It’s unfiltered and as you can see in the photo, it really does look like orange juice.

I was lucky enough to receive four bottles of Double Dry Hopped Fort Point. It just blows me away by serving up layers upon layers of juicy tropical fruit. It’s perfectly balanced with a crisp and earthy hop bitterness of black pepper and dark tea. Hard to believe that this is a basic pale ale. I’ve just run out of superlatives for this two-year old brewery and even though it might be some time from now, I’ll continue to wish for New Jersey distribution. When it shows up – you’ll thank me. I feel like I should just take a bottle of this beer to one of the newer New Jersey breweries and tell them – stop making mediocre beer for the masses and just replicate this.

97 points for this Double Dry Hopped Fort Point.
