Beer # 762
Purchased this single 16 ounce can of Wobble IPA from Cable Beverage in Rockland County. In short, Wobble IPA offers up a bit too much carbonation and the bitterness comes across a tad bit clunky. To me, the hop characteristics are just a muddled lump of bitterness. The hops certainly don’t taste fresh even though the date on the can indicates otherwise. Dominant flavors in this IPA are roasted caramel, black tea and black pepper. I’ll put Wobble IPA from Two Brothers at a very pedestrian 83 points. The problem with beers like this is that there are just way too many better options in the overpopulated IPA category. I think Rocky liked the can more than I liked the beer.
